Honestly, I’m more like you than you might think. I’ve been a working professional for many years. I got the travel bug very early in life.

Growing up in southeast Michigan I ventured to Canada often; Toronto is a fave destination. After getting my driver’s license I was always taking road trips all over the midwest and as far south as the Carolinas.

In my senior year of high school, I spent 6 months in the former U.S.S.R. living with a host family in Moscow. I also visited other places in Europe including Great Britain and Poland.

As I got older I lived in Portland, OR and, ultimately, moved to Tucson, AZ. So, Mexico became another place to explore. I often didn’t have much time so cruises and road trips were my go-to’s.

I have enjoyed many places in Mexico – Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Peñasco, La Paz, Esnsenada, Mazatlan, Cabo and others.

However, my passion has become the tropics and I spend my time nowadays trying to figure where next!

Having married a Filipino I fell in love with the island country and have reinvigorated my love for all things travel. I love the planes, trains, boats, trikes, jeepneys, automobiles, airports – EVERYTHING! Oh yes – And the destination!

My most favorite place in the world is still Boracay Island, Philippines.

All the best on your new adventures!
